Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Should be able to create and execute test plans, test cases. Detect bugs and track them, troubleshoot with developers. Maintain QA documentation, test matrices and generate reports for management.
• Process Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of business requirement to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer management skills. Ability to communicate across all levels of management. Clearly articulate the ideas related to testing process and procedure to technical and non-technical audience. Ability to work with Project Team and Stakeholders by ensuring quality and comply with banks Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
• Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and best practices to enhance team knowledge and performance. Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on and a team player.
• Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify quality issues and areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that testing practices comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust processes as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Requirements:

• Banking and Financial domain knowledge is Mandatory
• Should be able to create and execute test plans, test cases. Detect bugs and track them, troubleshoot with developers. Maintain QA documentation, test matrices and generate reports for management.
• Experience in working with the Business and BSAs.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development, QA, and software release processes
• Solid understanding of SIT Testing, Integration testing, system testing, Smoke testing, Regression testing, User Acceptance testing, Database testing, Data Migration Testing etc.
• Working experience with JIRA, Confluence, HP-ALM, Java/Python, Selenium, Load Runner etc.
• Solid understanding of API testing tools like SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured, Cucumber framework etc.
• Must have experience in business analysis and testing as a functional or UAT tester.
• Understanding of Cloud technologies and SaaS model is a plus
• Hands-on testing experience in Payments/Wire Payments is a PLUS.
• Experience in working with enterprise payments system is a PLUS


Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engg. preferred) or equivalent or related field. Certifications such as Six Sigma, CQI, or similar are a plus.
