Business Quality Analyst Manager – Crop

The Opportunity: This role will lead a Business Quality Analyst team by overseeing the gathering and validating of requirements and test cases, ensuring team members are striving to maintain expectations with key stakeholders, upholding best practices and procedures within areas of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance, and enhancing business capabilities to aid in support of organizational growth.

Location: Fargo, ND, Council Bluffs, IA, or Ramsey, MN

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office)

The salary range for this role is between $103,000 - $155,000

Your new role

Build and manage moderately complex improvement initiatives for business needs by communicating with cross-functional leaders to consult on business objectives, define desired outcomes and utilize individual credibility to influence the adoption of innovative, medium-term solutions

Lead the development of effective functional and technical business solutions by leading requirements gathering and translation of needs into actionable processes, identifying and managing resources, delegating workload, setting priorities and encouraging team collaboration with business leaders to foster alignment of deliverables with business requirements

Ensure effective team operations by encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing, driving adherence to defined processes and procedural guidelines and capitalizing on opportunities for continuous improvement to foster efficiency and promote the adoption of best practices

Monitor and report on system performance metrics, ensuring documentation of implemented business solutions and communicating with senior managers to report on technical and business challenges and solicit feedback to optimize department deliverables

Provide guidance to team by monitoring market trends and competition, identifying and communicating best practices and incorporating efficiency and productivity initiatives to align operations with innovative processes and procedures

Drive continuous improvement by assessing alignment of current process, program and systems to business requirements and capitalizing on opportunities for standardization, increased efficiency, cost reduction, increased quality and improved user experience to enhance performance of position, team and company

Guide end-users by reviewing requests, aligning process changes with business requirements and overseeing and contributing to team development of thorough process documentation to deliver effective and appropriate solutions

Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Knowledge of test automation and familiarity of test scrips

Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and API testing

Strong skills in defect tracking and management

Preferred Experience

Project management experience

Business analysis and improvement experience

Experience managing or leading others

Increasing levels of responsibility

Experience in creating comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools for integrating automated testing into the development process

Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, collaborating closely with development, build, and deployment teams

Preferred Knowledge

Applied knowledge of needs analysis best practices and procedures

Applied knowledge of relevant systems and system capabilities for business needs; terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components, and concepts

Advanced working knowledge of new and emerging tools and technologies relevant to the line of work; relevant trends and information within the insurance industry

Applied knowledge of project management principles and methodology

Ability to define, track, and report on key quality metrics to stakeholders

Knowledge of best practices for managing test data, including data masking and synthetic data generation

Experience coordinating and managing UAT processes to ensure that the final product meets user requirements

Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in quality assurance, such as AI-driven testing and shift-left testing practices

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience.
