Job Description:University of Florida Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking two professional level Business Relationship Managers to join the Customer Experience and Resource Planning department. UFIT maintains and operates the technology solutions that power UF’s academic and administrative enterprise.

The UFIT Business Relations team is part of the Customer Experience and Resource Planning department. The UFIT Business Relations team is focused on understanding and interpreting the technology needs of UF’s community. These positions provide support to the UFIT Business Relationship Managers and Project Managers by preparing customer meetings and documenting the UFIT intake process. Some key responsibilities of the positions are as follows:
Identify and document new IT requests that must be reviewed and approved by UFIT Management. Support the UFIT intake process by scheduling meetings and preparing documentation that is used to vet proposed changes or solutions with management for review and approval. Provide administrative support for the Empowering UF initiative, which includes scheduling Microsoft Outlook meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and/or supporting logistics for large project events. Support the benefits realization strategy by developing and documenting quantitative metrics to ensure that the design and integration of proposed system, software and hardware solution leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships, both internal at UFIT, and external with campus customers, demonstrating skills as an effective and articulate communicator, with the ability to interface and navigate a wide variety of stakeholders in a complex environment. Monitor customer satisfaction, advocate for customer needs with UFIT technical teams, and escalate customer relationship problems for senior management/leadership support. Benefits
Full-time TEAMS employees accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.
Vacation-accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status. These leave days may allow units to close from December 26 to 31, when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary:$70,000 – $85,000; commensurate based on education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s).
Preferred Qualifications:The ideal candidates will possess the following education, experience, and skills:
One to three years of relevant business and IT experience Experience interacting with a wide variety of constituents in an environment similar to the scale and complexity of UF Experience supporting IT portfolios and prioritization criteria Translating conversations and verbal interactions into documentation, such as developing business cases or other complex documents Accuracy, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented approach and mindset Special Instructions to Applicants:This role will be based in one of our Gainesville offices and may include a hybrid schedule: three days in the office (Wednesday required) and two days remote.
