A Brief Overview Lead and supervise a group of developers (Data Quality Analysts, Data Engineers, among others), while being responsible for the development, timely execution, and continuous enhancements of any business performance reporting need for both credit and deposit products across the three (3) Bank regions (PR, ECR, FL). Additionally, play a crucial role in the Bank's Centralized Incentive Program process by overseeing employee performance scorecards that directly impact 30+ incentive HEDs across the 3 regions. Serve as the lead Data Engineer for the Strategy Management umbrella by ensuring efficient techniques on data processing, transformation, understanding & storage that will transform business requirements into fulfilled business insights. Assist the Business Reporting Manager (“BRM”) in the execution of all reports, scorecards, incentive management for the Bank, while ensuring pristine quality standards and the most updated market trends in methodologies & tools used to get the required task done. What You’ll Need to Succeed + Supervise Data Quality Analysts, Data Engineers, among others in the execution of all reports and tasks related to all regions (primarily PR and ECR (80%) - for example Daily Reports, Weekly Branches Scorecards, Monthly Incentives, and any other ad-hoc requests). | (20%) + Pro-actively identify new ways to improve reporting and procedures of the unit to gain efficiency, concentrated on the agile & automation-first principle of any solution developed by the Team | (20%) + Develop and review the weekly and monthly Branches Scorecards for the Banks’ regions and ensure error free, pristine data quality & integrity. | (20%) + Responsible for the administration of PR Ticket application in Outsystem platform including support to end-users and managing future platform upgrades. | (5%) + Programming and database knowledge, while being an expert in the use of data manipulation & visualization tools such as, but not limited to: MS Excel, SQL, PowerBI, SSIS, Reporting Services, R-studio, Python, Word, PowerPoint, Crystal Report, SAP Business Object. | (5%) + Assist and provide support for complex corporate projects requiring advanced analytical, quantitative, and technical skills. | (5%) + Development and conceptualization of occasional reports to support business management including identify trends, deviations and / or opportunities for daily operations | (5%) + Interact with internal & external serviced customers, while keeping the Unit manager properly informed on any situation that may or may not impact expected deliverables | (5%) + Responsible for the execution of the unit’s workplan and compliance with deliverables. | (5%) + Build collaborative relationships with Team, internal customers and serve as the main liaison with the other Business Units. | (5%) · Develop, review and/or assist the preparation of presentations and reports as needed. | (5%) + Assist with the preparation of unit presentations and the execution of special corporate projects. What You’ll Need · 5 years previous financial institution. · Must possess proven business development skills, knowledge of the overall business marketplace, and a history of successful community involvement. · Extensive understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with mathematical aptitude & advanced accounting & computer spreadsheet skills. · Proven strong financial analysis skills. · Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and effective problem-solving skills. · Maintain a thorough knowledge of credit services and a complete understanding of Loan Policy. · Must be competent in the use of personal computer systems, internet applications and electronic mail, and various windows-based software applications to include, but not limited to, banking application, word processing, and spreadsheet software. · Education/Certification Requirements: bachelor’s degree in Related Field.
