The Controls Automation team is part of Citi’s Central Controls Capabilities Unit and is responsible for the evaluation of enterprise-wide (“common”) controls for automation and the design, development, implementation and central operation of automated control solutions on Citi strategic technology platforms including the ROCK Olympus controls platform.
This position reports to the Centralized Controls Lead and is responsible for supporting all critical stages of the development and rollout of automated controls from participating in the due diligence into proposed new controls to development and final technology implementation of automated solutions.
This role represents a great opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic professional to join a high-profile team delivering an enterprise-wide automation program to increase levels of automated controls across Citi.
Good time management and an attention to detail is required, together with excellent communication and influencing skills and diplomacy to communicate innovative automated solutions to technology partners and to business and risk stakeholders at all levels.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist Controls Automation Leaders, in the due diligence into candidate controls for automation, to assess suitability for automation and operation of controls within a centralized controls utility. This will involve interaction with stakeholder groups, including control, process and core technology owners, businesses and 2nd LoD risk partners.
+ Plays a key role and sometimes leads in the design of assigned automated control solutions, including development of Proofs of Concept designs and wireframes for implementation on identified technology platforms (ie. ROCK).
+ Assist Controls Automation Leaders in the assessment of the optimal operating model for target controls within the program (ie). operation of control by the offshore centralized controls utility or federated operation of control by each Citi business).
+ Prepare and maintain detailed end-to-end project plans for assigned control automation deliveries to track timely delivery of each milestone.
+ Key contributor in the drafting of business requirements documents (BRDs) for assigned controls, communication and presentation to key stakeholders.
+ Supports Controls Automation Leaders in the project management and tracking of pipeline controls for automation through each stage of development life cycle, liaising closely with developers, through to final delivery.
+ Participates in and sometimes designs user acceptance testing (UAT) for implementation of new automated controls.
+ Supports Controls Automation Leaders in the planning and execution of go-live logistics for automated control solutions (ie. cutover from manual process to automated / centralized solution)
+ Attendee of Controls Automation working group to provide ongoing updates on assigned deliveries to key stakeholders.
+ Drafts user guides and delivers targeted training sessions for assigned automated controls solutions.
+ Tracks operation of live controls on the ROCK platform for ongoing consistent operation
**Qualifications:**
+ 5 – 8 years banking / finance experience
+ Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
+ Excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
+ Outstanding relationship building and relationship management skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
+ Project management and governance experience with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed critical milestones.
+ Understanding of MCA (Managers Control Assessment) frameworks and processes considered a plus
+ Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
+ Innovative and Independent thinker and able to structure, design and articulate imaginative automation solutions.
+ Advanced English Skills
**Travel Requirement:**
+ Less than 10%.
