Charles River Development – Business Risk Management Intern
Controls Testing and Assurance performs a key role for Charles River Development as a First line of defense function by testing Information technology controls and providing independent feedback on the adequacy of controls. As a part of the Controls assurance team, one has to contribute to driving program activities related to Control identification, controls testing and Controls and Risk Mapping. To achieve this objective, one has to communicate and collaborate with controls owners and other key stakeholders globally.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop risk management skills and work closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Risk Management Intern, you will assist the Business Risk Management team in performing required controls assurance work by helping with, but not limited to, the following:
Identify and assess risks and controls within business and technology processesTest design and operating effectiveness of controls as part of periodic required process and control reviewsSelf-identify, and assist the business in self-identifying, control issues, analyze their root causes, draft / assist in drafting appropriate and timely remediation plans, and continuously monitor remediation progressAdvise the business on risks and control design, adopting a partnership approach, especially during introduction of new technology and business processesQualifications
Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions.Interest in building strong relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.Eagerness to learn and grow, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.Benefits

Salary Range:
$15,600 - $58,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
