Hourly base pay rate is $14.42 - $21.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Dealertrack is hiring for a Business Services Specialist I  to join our team in Wilmington, OH!

Under general supervision, the Business Services Specialist I performs various tasks relating to processing in support of motor vehicle title and registration transactions for our dealer partners. This work encompasses several responsibilities (depending on the team) ranging from mail receipt, imaging, and secure storage to document/data validation, DMV documentation submission, and post-transaction processing and invoicing.

Shift Time: M-F, 8:00AM – 4:30PM, occasional overtime

Essential Functions

Below is a list of primary functions completed by a Business Services Specialist I (based on each primary RegUSA team).

Mail Team

Receive and prepare mail for internal processing.Scans and validates key documentation for system import.Secure file storage facilitation and administration.Post-transaction material routing.Tax and Fee validation and invoicing

State Processing Team

Validating physical document standards against DMV requirements.Auditing transactional data requirements versus dealer submitted data.Performing tax and fee analysis based on State standards.Creating DMV submission packages for transaction completion.Complete online transaction submission and fulfillment (as available by State).

Online Registration and Titling Team

Audit transactional data and forms received from State Processing team.Complete online filing of registration and title for all states (assigned to location).Handle interactions with DMV’s regarding transaction completion, title pickup, or exception communications.Provide transaction completion and finance reporting to Finance and Post-DMV teams.Tax and Fee validation and invoicing (NY office only).

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED Generally, less than 2 years of experience Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Strong attention to detail.Ability to prioritize.Basic computer skills, experience in Microsoft Office products.Organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
