The Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) Business Solutions Team is responsible for leading efforts across the larger FTIS organization focused on technical product management, business analysis, business process re-engineering, discovering operational efficiencies and leading strategic projects that can support and drive growth of the business.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Business Solutions Implementation Manager?Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Process Re-engineering and business analysis
Lead cross-functional transformation efforts through evaluating processes, recommending improvements and implementing changes leveraging technology across investments, operations and client reporting to build a scalable business model
Participate in the research, design and building of analytical tool frameworks that drive executive decision making
Drive the exploration and discovery of new tools to make the entire organization more efficient including internal and external AI software
Perform necessary data analysis, strategic data assessments and recommendations to enable these new solutions
Ability to use creativity to devise solutions that adapt to business needs including short term tactical solutions that can bridge the gap to long term strategic plans
Strategic Projects and Product Management
Oversee the intake process of different requests from the FTIS business, prioritize and work with internal and external (FTS/FTT) partners on best ways to implement
Partner with business users to understand current challenges/needs and designing creative solutions
Support oversight, enhancements and issue resolution on several platforms the team oversees including Jacobi, FTIS Reference Master, AlternativeSoft
Coordinate monthly business reporting processes to ensure team members meet expected SLAs
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?8+ years of relevant experience
A resourceful problem solver capable of creating and implementing innovative technical solutions
Strong analytical mindset, project management skills and ability to multi-task
Self-motivated, creative thinker who is comfortable leading projects in an evolving, fast paced environment
Business and operations knowledge of public and private markets including mutual funds, alternatives, derivatives and associated data such as performance and taxonomy
Excel proficiency (vlookup, Macros, Power Pivot), SQL knowledge or PowerBI a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Outgoing personality and ability to interact and build strong partnerships across different functions of an organization, including FTT, FTS, FTIS
