Business Standards and Process Optimization Analyst (1 year)

Emerson is looking for a Business Standards and Process Optimization Analyst (1 year) for our offices in Cluj (Romania), Madrid (Spain), or Leicester (UK). The primary objective of this role is to leverage current and new digital tools and technologies to foster innovative customer engagement, enhance customer experience, and improve customer care efficiency and cycle times. This position will support the Commercial Excellence Program by driving standards and process enhancements throughout the entire quote, sales order management, and invoice-to-cash cycle, playing a crucial role in ensuring the adoption of process standards and best practices across our sales offices. As a business analyst dedicated to Customer Care Europe, you will ensure that standards, work procedures, and processes are thoroughly documented, communicated, and adopted across the business. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

Develop, update and maintain documentation, including process flows, work procedures and training materials for standard Customer Care functions and business processes.    Support local Commercial Excellence/Customer Care leaders to ensure adoption of new processes and tools by supporting audits and process conformance analysis.   Collaborate and help drive initiatives to continuously improve standards and use of Digital tools and processes.   Improve communication by promoting the use of new processes and digital capabilities. Working with the European Sales and Customer Care Teams to provide instructions and/or training for launch of new tools and optimized processes.   As a key stakeholder work with local country champions through community of practice groups, to identify process gaps and tool requirements for continuous improvement.   Capture new requirements and work with IT development teams to translated business needs through agile methodology, support development and business testing. Once new features are developed, focus on delivery of training material / user manuals / support procedures (incl. proofreading and comments on initial drafts) and training plan for the European Sales and Customer Care Teams  Triage issues and questions from the Business Users to the right Team and track the progress of the required support  Report to leadership about the number of issues raised by the business each period and how fast the issues are resolved  Ensure accurate business metrics are implemented and reported on a frequent basis   Support other initiatives within the Commercial Excellence Teams whenever required

You are a detail-oriented analyst with a passion for developing, updating, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support standard Customer Care functions and business processes. You excel in collaborating with teams to adopt new processes and tools, driving continuous improvement. Your strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements make you essential in optimizing and supporting business operations.

 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

 

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities; proactive Strong collaboration & good communication skills   Lean knowledge and business process optimization experience Fluent in English  Willingness to travel internationally as per business needs (less than 25% of the time) Good presentation skills  

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

 

Qualification in Lean six sigma   Knowledge of Oracle JDI & CRM business systems  Experience of working with AI or other digital technologies  Ability to create Microsoft Power BI & data analytics reports    A background in quality management
