Apple is looking for a Business Strategy Manager to join the Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Management (GSSM) team. You will help shape the future of our supply chain by establishing yourself as an expert in supply chain trends, sourcing practices, and technology adoption across the industry.
**Description**
Manage data and systems to track and project geographic and supplier-level spend. Understand the context shaping supplier relationships and sourcing trends. Engage with teams such as Finance, PR, and Government Affairs to prepare briefings. Brief executives on key issues ahead of meetings with suppliers and governments. Source credible third-party data to analyze key product supply chains, including cost, production sites, and supplier networks. Identify external resources to efficiently capture and update this information. Benchmark market research against internal supply chain data. Understand how suppliers are differentiating themselves, and identify opportunities to partner with those aligned to our strategic objectives. Establish yourself as an expert in the trends shaping the future of manufacturing and supply chain operations. Introduce innovative ways to visualize data and draw insight. Leverage market research to influence sourcing decisions.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BEng/BA/BS degree
+ 3+ years of relevant work experience

+ Relevant experience in supply chain, or procurement, or consulting.
+ Comfortable with ambiguity and applying structured problem-solving to deliver solutions.
+ Experience building and analyzing large, complex datasets to derive business insights.
+ Knack for crafting compelling narratives and visuals with meticulous attention to detail.
+ Curious to research and understand the features and supply chain of electronics.
+ Strong business acumen to understand key dynamics and nuances in new industries.
+ Skilled at networking with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
+ Outstanding ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Experience managing all phases of projects from analysis through strategy and execution.
+ Experience in with programming languages such as SQL, Python or R.
+ Market research experience on costs, supply chains, and technology trends.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
