Business Support Specialist

Leicester Contact Center Grove Park.

Goals and Objectives:

The Business Support Specialist provides essential support to the Service Sales organisation.  This role is key to the Service contract risk management process, integral to which is ensuring compliance with Company financial and contract policies and advising Sales teams on ensuring contracts are agreed and processed within these parameters and associated controls. 

Whilst the role requires an elementary understanding of contract principles and policies, there is also a requirement for excellent administrative/organisational skills, to ensure individual contracts are correctly processed within the Company systems in a timely manner, enabling smooth transition from agreement/signature through to checking, validation and booking

Responsibilities:

Review contractual clauses in line with the Service Contract Risk Assessment and advise Sales on contractual risk and compliance issues arising therefrom.Ensure all contract compliance checks are completed in accordance with Company requirements.Process new contracts through to booking in Service Contract Management system, in accordance with agreed KPIs.Provide support to Sales on contractual, process and systems queries on an ad-hoc basis.Maintain accurate and updated records on contract process status.Advise Sales on contract approvals, in line with Company requirements and Policies, Authorities and RulesAssist in development and continual improvement of processes and standard work.Support Credit Control on contractual queries/disputes, including credit/impact analysis.Process post-contract changes using SCM system and following Company Policies.Support audits on an ad-hoc basis.Complete administrative tasksEscalation of non compliance contract issues that are non standard to Team Leader to mitigate risksComply with all departmental procedures and standard work.
