Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Management to work with our team in Dayton OH. The selected candidate will support and report directly to the Senior Manager, Program Support Office (PSO). The selected candidate will be responsible for tracking program cost management, compliance with contract requirements, coordinating with technical, accounting and contracts specialist staff across KBR as well as working very closely with our clients and government contracting staff. Qualified individuals will have some knowledge of SBIR Phase III contracts, and experience in financial management and working within the Department of Defense. Knowledge of government contracts regulations and processes would be beneficial. It is essential that the selected candidate can work independently and resolve challenges of varying complexity, providing leadership with appropriate recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, validate, and organize all financial data in support of various SBIR Phase III contracts including labor, travel, and other direct costsMonitor cost plan compliance, understand deviations and work with Program Managers to mitigateReconcile all labor, travel, and other direct costs monthly to support finance department invoicing cycleWork with sub-contracts team to develop purchase requisitions and track & reconcile sub-contract invoicesPrepare related revenue and budget calculationsWork closely with clients’ contracting representative to manage all related issuesCollate Monthly Status Reports, burn rate charts and track all contractual deliverablesCoordinate system changes for supporting IT including adding new projects and staff to time management system (Deltek CostPoint)Support Senior Manager with other tasks as required

Desired:

Familiarity with SBIR Phase III ContractsKnowledge of government contracting including an appreciation of DFARs/FARs
