Business Support Specialist

As a Business Support Specialist in our Investments group, you will thrive on the opportunity to support every member of the team with your can-do attitude. Your focus on attention to detail and accuracy of documentation will be valued along with strong project management skills.

Whether you are formatting a client document, initiating client invoices, creating an expense report, or scheduling a meeting and taking minutes, you appreciate the importance of quality in everything we do.

Contributing to our friendly and highly competent group and working alongside one additional member of the Business Support team, you will thrive on being part of a high-functioning group that’s integral to our ability to meet our client needs. It is your strong focus on pro-active teamwork, your desire to be “one step ahead”, and your ability to prioritise having regard to urgency that will set you apart.

The Role

Formatting documents (PowerPoint and Word) Scheduling meetings (Outlook) and taking Minutes Client Invoicing (Oracle) Booking travel  Drafting Expense Reports (Oracle) Organising team events and conferences Creating and maintaining Client Sites on Microsoft SharePoint Online (Team Collaboration Tool) Supporting manager research with updates of the manager research database including uploading documentation Working collaboratively with other business support specialists to progress tasks and ensure sufficient coverage when others are on leave

The Requirements

Strong attention to detail, process-oriented and with excellent proof-reading abilities (including own work)Strong verbal and written English communication skillsWell organised with excellent ability to schedule priorities and a capacity to multi-taskAbility to work efficiently, independently, and pro-activelyRelate in a calm, professional manner even under pressureAdvanced Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills and Basic Excel skillsExperience working as a corporate Personal Assistant/Group AssistantExperience with systems such as Oracle, AMEX Travel, Microsoft SharePoint would be preferred
