By Light is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois.  The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).

 

The successful candidate shall, in support of the Service Design, synchronize efforts with the IT Service Portfolio Manager and produce customer-based additional information for each defined service.

 

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours.

Responsibilities Provide a consistent approach to designing servicesDeliver services that are effective and efficient IT and mission solutions through the coordination of all design activitiesDesign services that can be easily and efficiently developedCoordinate with appropriate stakeholders when a new or changed service is to be deployed to ensure workflows are developed in the Service Request System.Documenets workflows with tasks prior to service implementation.Achieving an overall improvement in the quality of IT service within the imposed design constraints by reducing rework once the services have been transitioned into the live production environmentFacilitating the completion of a Service Design Package for all new and existing services.The contractor shall assist the Government IT Service Portfolio Manager in documenting and maintaining templates in support of Service Design Coordination.The contractor shall schedule and document all required meetings (e.g., Requirements Working Group, Technical Review Board, and Design Planning meetings) in support of Service Design Coordination Required Experience/Qualifications BA/BS5+ years of experienceITIL 4 Foundations certificationExperience with formal system development methodologies including AgileExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExperience with business process modelingExperience eliciting and documenting software requirements in the form of use cases and user storiesExperience working with BMC Remedy Ticketing SystemExperience working with Microsoft SharePointExperience in business analysis activities including:SW/HW requirements management and analysisSW/HW requirements elicitationSW/HW solutions analysisSW/HW requirements planningStrong attention to detail and follow-through skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience/Qualifications MA/MS10+ years of experienceDoD TS/SCI clearanceITIL 4 Managing Professional certificationKnowledge of and/or experience with software and hardware discovery toolsExperience working with ServiceNow Special Requirements/Security Clearance Active DoD Secret Clearance Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
