In Sales Compensation (part of Commerce Engineering), we deliver a simplified and intuitive Seller and Partner experience and world-class digital capabilities that aligns with business strategy and enables growth. The Sales Goaling and Forecast component is responsible for Sales Planning, Goaling and Forecasting for 16,000+ Cisco sellers. The ability to set right targets and compensation plans for the sellers to sell in alignment with Cisco products strategy is very critical to Cisco generating revenue and staying ahead of its competitors.

Your Impact Deep Knowledge of LLM Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of the architecture underlying large language models, such as Transformer-based models, including GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer), and their variants.Language Model Training and Fine-Tuning: Experience in training large-scale language models from scratch, as well as fine-tuning pre-trained models for specific applications or domains. Experience with Agentic frameworks a plus.Data Preprocessing for NLP: Skills in preprocessing textual data, including tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, and handling of different text encodings.Transfer Learning and Adaptation: Proficiency in applying transfer learning techniques to adapt existing LLMs to new languages, domains, or specific business needs. Handling Ambiguity and Context in Text: Ability to design models that effectively handle ambiguities, nuances, and context in natural language processing.Application of LLMs: Experience in creatively applying LLM technology in diverse areas such as chatbots, content creation, semantic search, and more.Data Annotation and Evaluation: Skills in designing and implementing data annotation strategies for training LLMs and evaluating their performance using appropriate metrics. Scalability and Deployment: Experience in scaling LLMs for production environments, ensuring efficiency and robustness in deployment.Implement and maintain all AI Ops pipeline to automate tasks such as data collection, model training and deployment.Minimum Qualifications BA / BS degree with 7+ years of experience (or) MS degree with 5+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer or equivalent3+ years of solid experience in machine learning engineering3+ years of experience in programming with PythonProven expertise demonstrated by implementing at least 3 projects involving machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling Demonstrated proficiency in using at least two machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, pyTorch, or scikit-learn, evidenced by at least 3 projects or applications Preferred Qualifications Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities, capable of conveying sophisticated concepts to non-technical collaborators Consistent track record to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams The capacity to think critically and take on sophisticated, innovative problems in the field.A willingness to continuously learn and adapt, crucial in the ever-evolving field of AI
