Job Description

As a Business Systems Analyst in our Data Layer Team you will get the opportunity to work in a highly qualified team specializing in data modelling and data exchange using state-of-the-art technologies and techniques such as in memory processing, data exchange and data streaming and cloud-based computing.

You are expected to deliver properly working data layer, including platform & tooling, and models which contribute to ever-increasing customer satisfaction and positive customer experience.

You are also expected to have a passion for data driven software and data architecture and be able to collaborate efficiently with functional analysts in charge of the data modelling and with the lead architect in charge of the global data architecture.

Your responsibilities:

Participate in all stages of new functional developments: designing solutions, implementation, testing and documentation.

Contribute to software maintenance and bug fixing, analyse and solve critical issues, sometimes on customers' production environments.

Unblock critical issues, sometimes on customers' production environments, and liaise with development colleagues for longer term solutions/fixes.

Share your knowledge and experience across the team, contribute to onboarding new team joiners.

Qualifications

Master degree in Banking , Finance , Computer Science or any other related field.

Knowledge in banking with exposure to regulatory requirements (Corep, Irrbb, Liquidity, etc.).

Knowledgein Risk Management and Risk Calculations.

Knowledge in Financial Instruments and Financial Markets.

Excellent communication (written and oral) skills – feeling comfortable with management reporting and presentations.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Desirable

Possession of ACCA, CFA, FRM, or PRIMIA certifications would be considered an asset.

Experience with Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an agile environment i.e. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.

Knowledge of source code systems and development tools: Maven, Git

Advanced database knowledge (Oracle & MS SQL Server)

Experience with systems design and architecture
