We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our CGI team with consulting experience to assist in promoting quality assurance and process improvement solutions to realize our client's transformative vision.

This is a full-time career opportunity to work on a highly visible transformation (Infrastructure services) projects for one of our long-standing government clients! This role applies deep technical expertise to the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of AWS services.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the US; however, the preferred locations are one of our Onshore Delivery Centers: Troy, AL; Lafayette, LA; Wausau, WI; Knoxville, TN; Mobile, AL; Belton, TX; Waterville, ME; or Lebanon, VA. This role is to be completed in a hybrid capacity.

The self-motivated person who fills this position will be joining and contributing to a dynamic team that will be assisting a local Northern California public sector client to successfully transform how they provide services to their respective clients in quality assurance and control (non-testing) through the deliverable review of project written work products and deliverables.

Candidates for this role will have close collaboration with CGI peers and the client to define, refine and promote high quality delivery. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in different groups to help advance quality management initiatives for CGI solutions.

Candidates will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for deliverable and work product content and validating compliance with project style-writing guides and processes, while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate must demonstrate superior writing, editing and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact
• Prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documentation

• Gather and analyze technical information from various sources to document new and changing requirements, and processes and procedures

• Independently gather information from technical and nontechnical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, organize and write procedures, technical specifications and process documents

• Create and organize information architecture

• Provide support for deliverables, monthly reports and quarterly numbers for documents

• Develop and maintain templates for written documentation ensuring a consistent “look and feel” that meets and exceeds the company standards and client expectations

• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information to the target audience for comprehension of various documentation types

• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions

• Create or work with graphic designers and analysts to create diagrams, charts and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process

• Work closely with many internal and external groups within the public sector environment

• Collaborate with different teams consisting of CGI peers and client participants

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring
Minimum Qualifications & Professional Experience:

•            2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, working in a large and complex IT system project

•            At least 1+ years performing Quality Assurance Analyst (non-testing) or Profession-Technical Writing type work

•            At least 1 year experience exercising QA principles and practices on a large and complex IT project

•            At least 1+ years performing technical writing skills, including solid experience writing and analyzing documentation for multiple audiences

•            At least +1 years' experience creating and using diagrams, screenshots, charts, workflows and graphics that increase user understanding

•            Any experience implementing process improvement on project involving large and complex IT systems is a plus

•            Experience working with technical and nontechnical team members and stakeholders at different levels in the IT field

•            Experience working in technical Agile/Scrum teams, with ability to follow and meet evolving project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment

•            Willingness to learn new processes, tools and professional talents

•            Ability to expertly use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

•            Ability to follow verbal directions and produce documentation in a quick turn-around environment

•            Ability to work with cross-functional teams

•            Maintain excellence in document and presentation materials

•            Ability to work toward aggressive deadlines, in team and individual settings, in a timely manner

•            Demonstrated follow-through and independence in tackling assigned work

•            Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

•            Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

•            Four-year Bachelor’s degree or higher degree

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800 - $83,800."
