What You'll be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC Canadian Banking & Capital Markets Technology Business Management Office group providing invoice processing support for various lines of businesses. Your primary role will be to review and validate vendor invoices, cross reference invoices against accrual files, process payments to vendors and ensure appropriate governances is followed. As an Analyst, Business Effectiveness, you will be required to engage with various internal stakeholders (Directors, Vendors, etc) and work independently.

How You’ll Succeed
Relationship Management – Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients and peers. Must be able to professionally interact with various levels of personnel as well as external parties and stakeholders. Serve as the point of contact for a several vendor, business and technology groups. You have good teamwork, partnership and relationship building skills. Quality and Accuracy- You can process information with high level of accuracy, following up to resolve issues and/or escalating discrepancies with internal business partners or external service providers.Teamwork - You can work closely with others and coordinate processing of invoices from end-to-end. Communication - You can demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinionsInfluencing, Negotiating and Problem Solving – You can support technology and business groups to identify cost reduction opportunities. Listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the client’s shoes. Act like an owner by taking accountability for client issues and know when to collaborate with others to build a better solution together.Manage Multiple Priorities - You can manage multiple concurrent objectives, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing while keeping abreast of the industry knowledge, innovations and advancements in business practices and technologiesRisk Management - You can apply appropriate governance practices across our Technology and Business groups as well as our vendorsWho You Are
You can demonstrate experience with: Minimum 1 year experience in an Administrative role with Accounts Payable or Finance exposure. . It’s an asset if you have previous experience using COUPA A/P system. You have a degree/diploma in Business and/or recognized professional designation or equivalent and extensive knowledge of the financial & technology services industry.Your influence makes an impact.
