The IT Business Analyst (IT BA) supports driving innovative and scalable solutions to bring value to business, as well as covering the solution’s lifecycle management to suit respective markets.

 

The Opportunity:

 

Plays a part in the product’s lifecycle management and ensures that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirement

IT BA collaborates with IT Product Managers, Stakeholders, Product Owners, other Business Analysts and Development Teams

Helps develop and maintain the business case including high-level solution options, resource estimates, and resource confirmation in support of the strategic backlog management process.

Acts as an interface between business and IT functions and as a contact point for business leads in order to launch initiatives, leading and driving the scoping phase.

Collaborates with IT Product Managers / Business Partners in business development activities 

Support the harmonization of business processes across sites and departments by propagating common standardized data models, applications, and technologies that are in line with the cross-functional or functional Informatics strategies and architectures.

Performs typical Business Analysis activities and creates deliverables as per Roche standards within a squad/project like a Business Case, Project Charter, URS/User Stories, process diagrams, System Risk Assessments. 

 

 

Who you are:

 

Minimum 3-5 years of experience with a min of Bachelor or Advanced Degree

Has experience with business partnering, ability to quickly learn new business domains, requirements elicitation and management, business process analysis and design, usability, and the ability to facilitate workshops.

Is certified in at least one Agile framework/methodology (e.g., SAFe or Scrum) and has at least theoretical knowledge of the Agile BA framework (IIBA).

We highly value candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:

Hands-on experience in the healthcare industry (areas: sales, customer service, marketing, market access, compliance, finance/procurement). 

Experience with one or more of the typical backlog management tools (eg. Trello, JIRA) is a plus

Experience with one or more diagramming, mockuping and UI design tools (eg. Balsamiq, Draw.io, MS Visio, LucidChart, Enterprise Architect, Adobe XD etc.)

Experience with one or more of business analysis and product design and development approaches (eg. TDD, BDD, Event Storming, CI-CD pipeline etc.)

Practical knowledge about at least one Agile framework/methodology (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)

Practical knowledge of Agile BA framework (IIBA). 

Business Analysis certification or training is a plus (eg. BABOK, IREB etc.).
