This individual will be a key player in our organization's efforts to leverage technology to solve business challenges and improve processes. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen to identify and implement technology solutions that support our firm's objectives and innovation initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Requirements Gathering:** Understand and document business models and processes, and how each interacts with technology. + **Requirements Analysis:** Work with business partners to elicit, analyze, and document business analytical requirements. + **Efficiency Improvement:** Seek ways to improve efficiency or synchronize cross-team efforts using technology. + **Solution Identification:** Help define, research, identify, and promote new technology solutions that support business needs or solve challenges. + **Solution Design:** Work with key IT, business owners, and external subject matter experts and stakeholders, to lead the design, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs. + **Integration and Collaboration:** Serve as an integrator and work with key personnel to solve business challenges or create technical solutions. + **Emerging Technologies:** Stay current on new and emerging technologies and how they might solve business challenges. + **Lifecycle Responsibilities:** Help define responsibilities in the lifecycle of developed systems including IT and business ownership responsibilities and roles. _We have one position available and will consider candidates interested in working in a hybrid environment from our Lincoln or Omaha, NE office locations._ **Qualifications** **You bring to the team:** + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field. + Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) preferred. + Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) helpful. + Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT Infrastructure. + Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. + Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in business. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships. **Additional Information** Olsson is a nationally recognized, employee-owned firm specializing in planning and design, engineering, field services, environmental, and technology.
