Job Summary:
This position is responsible for analyzing, understanding and translating business needs into business/technical requirements with minimal supervision. Conduct unsupported requirements interviews with stakeholders; to capture and validate information provided in elicitation sessions, unstructured reviews and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Support the translation of business requirements into the estimation and business case development process Experienced in using tool and methodologies (e.g. SIPOC) to identify process and operational efficiencies in business current and future state modelsPerforms Business Requirements Gathering process, including the creation of deliverablesConducts detailed researchPerforms analysis necessary to identify viable solution alternativesFollows the Horizon's business requirement's documentation process utilizing the appropriate toolsDelivers work estimates to client(s)Creates technical documents and high-level solution designParticipates in the complete system development life cycleMay perform testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Conduct unsupported requirements interviews with stakeholders; to capture and validate information provided in elicitation sessions, unstructured reviews and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.Support the translation of business requirements into the estimation and business case development processExperienced in using tool and methodologies (e.g. SIPOC) to identify process and operational efficiencies in business current and future state modelsEducation:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant experience required.Experience:
4-6 years of related IT work experience preferably in the health insurance industryHas played a key role in major company initiatives and demonstrated some leadership experience.Knowledge:
Requires knowledge of system development life cycle and implementation methodologiesPrefers experience from Health insurancePrefers claims processing knowledge and preferred benefits knowledgeDemonstrates proficiency in structured query languages or analysis techniquesDemonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problemDemonstrates understanding of core business functions

Salary Range:
$84,700 - $115,605This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
