Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst in the Data and Integrations team will be responsible for eliciting, documenting and communicating requirements by working closely with business stakeholders, product managers and technical teams (internal and external). This position requires analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and reverse engineering existing system logic as necessary in order to understand system functionality. The role utilizes a combination of professional, business and technical systems knowledge and skills.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Utilize various requirements elicitation techniques to gather requirements from business stakeholders
+ Work collaboratively using Scrum and Kanban methodologies to plan and deliver on commitments
+ Collaborate with other domain experts, product owners, and management
+ Define and maintain a scalable process to document requirements for engineers in Jira/Confluence or an equivalent tool
+ Perform data analysis and data mapping between cloud based applications and the data warehouse
+ Create and maintain Entity-Relationship Diagrams (logical and physical), activity diagrams and other visuals in Lucidchart
+ Clearly differentiate functional requirements, non-functional requirements and business rules
+ Perform gap analysis and feasibility analysis in order to understand business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and create procedures to improve existing systems
+ Explain complex subjects to a diverse audience with a wide variety of technical and business skills
+ Think independently and creatively to streamline work and root out inefficiencies
+ Perform functional testing to ensure a high quality product is delivered to business stakeholders
+ Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Essential Skills
+ Proficient with full-cycle SDLC (requirements analysis, design, evaluation of technologies, development, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management)
+ Strong planning skills, including mapping out dependencies, milestones, estimates and timelines
+ Strong collaboration ability with management, peers, and external teams to accomplish deliverables
+ Ability to work with advanced tools and techniques in software development, data analysis, data quality, and business intelligence
+ Create and maintain various artifacts such as diagrams and traceability matrix
+ Provide advice and decision-support to peers, analysts, and management team in strategic and tactical decisions
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role
+ Knowledge of structure testing methodology

+ Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to creatively approach and solve situations
Required Experience
+ 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in the data warehousing arena
+ Proficiency with SQL is a must
+ 2+ years of experience using Agile methodologies
+ Good to have working knowledge of the following Google Cloud Platform technologies: BigQuery, Composer/Airflow, SSIS, Cloud Run Functions, Dataflow, Cloud DataFusion, Cloud SQL, Memory Store and Cloud Storage
+ Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 4+ years IT industry experience.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $104,044.00 - Mid: $130,055.00- Max: $156,065.00
