This intern will help develop and support AI-driven applications. Our team's vision is to shape the technological future of our company. We are using AI to deliver strategic and innovative solutions for the enterprise.
A business systems engineer is responsible for analyzing an Protiviti’s business needs, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that optimize operations and support business goals by leveraging technology, often involving data analysis and process mapping to identify areas for improvement and develop efficient solutions.
**What You’ll Do**
+ **Requirement Gathering:** Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather functional and non-functional requirements, and document them clearly.
+ **Process Analysis** : Analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and create process flowcharts to visualize workflows.
+ **System Analysis and Design:** Develop system architecture, design user interfaces, and define system functionalities based on gathered requirements.
+ **Data Analysis:** Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform decision-making and system improvements.
+ **System Implementation:** Work with development teams to implement new systems, test functionalities, and manage system deployment.
+ **User Training:** Develop and deliver user training materials to ensure proper system adoption and usage.
+ **Change Management:** Manage change associated with new systems, including communication plans and stakeholder engagement.
+ **Project Management** : Contribute to project planning, tracking progress, and managing project risks.
**What You’ll Need**
+ **Education:** Be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program related to computer science, with a graduation year of 2026
+ **Technical Skills:** Understanding of database concepts, programming languages, software development methodologies, and relevant IT systems.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
+ **Business Acumen:** Understanding of business processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and the impact of technology on business operations.
+ **Stakeholder Management** : Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders and effectively gather requirements.
+ **Project Management Skills** : Basic project management skills to contribute to project planning and execution.
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below.
$26/hr
