Business Travel Coordinator - 8mths FTC

Set your sights on a future of shipbuilding with a role designed for aspiring professionals. We are looking for a Business Travel Coordinator to join our team in Southampton. 

The Role

As part of the Strategy and Business Services Team, the Business Travel Coordinator will manage and coordinate business travel arrangements for colleagues within Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding. Through booking flights, hotels, and other travel-related services, the Business Travel Coordinator will ensure that all travel plans are efficient, cost-effective, and comply with company policies.

Job Requirements

The key responsibilities for this role include:

Arrange flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services for employees traveling on business. Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company policies and budget constraints. Provide travellers with detailed itineraries, including flight and hotel information, transportation options, and any other relevant details. Assist travellers with any changes or issues that may arise during their trip, including rebooking flights or accommodations as needed. Maintain accurate records of all travel bookings and expenses. Negotiate with travel vendors to secure the best rates and services. Stay up to date with travel industry trends and best practices to ensure the company is utilizing the most efficient and cost-effective travel options. Provide excellent customer service to all employees and ensure their travel experiences are smooth and hassle-free. Provide support to colleagues within the Project Support Team with additional plan approval activities as required.
