Business Unit Director Vaccines
Site Name: Chile - Santiago Metropolitan Region - Santiago Posted Date: Feb 7 2025 Your Responsibilities: The position is responsible for leading the Vaccines Business Unit, including both marketing and promotional teams, as well as a cross-functional team (indirectly). Provides strategic direction to maximize the value of current and future assets while building the specialty capability towards a biopharmaceutical company. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is part of the Cluster (Chile, Peru & Ecuador) Leadership Team modelling GSK values and expectations, building a great place to work and establishing a strong, efficient and sustainable performance culture is essential. This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are: Develop the vaccine business strategy through initiatives ensuring brilliant commercial execution, driving impact for business and patients. Launch a world-class pipeline for Vaccines. Provide in-country support for new asset launches including market shaping, marketing mix and channel strategy. Lead the team to build strong partnerships and engage with local and global cross-functional partners. Develop Specialty capabilities and effective measures to track progress, identify gaps and implement accelerated improvement plans. Work closely with other business units seeking efficiency, best practices sharing and joint initiatives aiming for improved business performance. Be a driving force for a culture evolution in the vaccines business model within the organization, among the direct team and the broad organization. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management, health care or equivalent. Proven experience in management and leadership, including sales and marketing, within the biopharmaceutical industry in the vaccine business. 5+ years’ experience in leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Healthcare systems. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: MSc in sales, marketing or equivalent preferred. Strong project management skills.
