Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Head of Quality Assurance (QA) for our Scent Business. This position is responsible and accountable for the strategic leadership and direction of all aspects of the QA function, overseeing 17 manufacturing sites across the globe with a combined annual business of more than $2.5 billion USD.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oversight and quality guidance to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and industry practices.
Lead the development, commercialization, and cosmetics/product food safety activities, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Implement programs to improve quality and service, reduce costs, and mitigate enterprise risks that could lead to financial liabilities due to product recalls, market withdrawals, and/or major customer claims.
Serve as the primary corporate interface for all quality and compliance relations with internal and external counterparts and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior QA leadership role within a global manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of quality.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT, SYSTEMS AND POLICIES IMPLEMENTATION

- Responsible for strategic development of quality function and oversight of IFF's quality management system ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements in collaboration with corporate quality and operations.

- Coordinate and implement various tactical elements aligned with the corporate quality strategy, ensuring global consistency.

- Responsible for ensuring manufacturing sites are in compliance to regulation and standards (GMP’s/HACCP) aligned with internal policy and procedures (cosmetics quality standard (iso 22716).

- Responsible for ensuring manufacturing sites meets or exceeds all relevant customer, various external 3rd party quality, government & non-government audits, licences and certifications in all regions (i.e. GFSI, BRC, FSSC 22000, SQF, IFS, BAP, ISO's, RSPO, SEDEX, URSA, Fair Trade, NSF, etc. ).  Works across all disciplines to ensure that the sites maintains a state of readiness for inspection by various institution and agencies.

- Ensure Quality Control Systems and Processes successfully result in ‘Right First Time’ performance and all operation specific quality metrics are achieved.

- Provide direction and support for the successful completion and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects in support of operations/quality goals and objectives.

- Develops and implements best practices in the site QA/QC Department.

- Monitor and communicate to corporate quality team any changes in local government regulations affecting quality and product safety.

- Administers quality policies and SOP’s

- Quality audit at sites during visits
