Business Unit Manager - Aftermarket Operations

Job Description

Responsibilities include

Lead the Aftermarket Support and the Spares Customer Account teamsEnsure the execution of multiple statements of workTimesheet and leave approvals which includes ensuring accurate and on-time submittal of team member timesheetsTrack budgets, deliverables and report regularly on project statusMonitor the invoices and replenish Cyient POs for third-party contractor supportHire, develop and retain talentInteract with Aftermarket Operations team and clients to ensure customer satisfactionIdentify potential deliverable delays and devise solutionsCooperate and communicate effectively with customers to provide assistance and technical supportDrive continuous process improvements/cost savingsTrack updates, chart results and communicate the Delivery Led Mining metrics for all the wider operations organization on a monthly basisDrive organizational KPIs/metrics

Preferred qualifications

12 or more years of relevant experience preferredCollege and/or working experience in aerospace engineering or commercial/aftermarket operationsWorking Experience in an environment with a focus on quick turn-around timeExcellent time management and organizational skillsAdaptable to changeExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsAdvanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel and VBA macros is a plusFamiliarity with SAP a plusFamiliarity with Aerospace and Jet Engines is a plusAbility to work with an interdisciplinary group of delivery assurance professionals, customers and executives
