Business Unit Operations (M5)

Key Responsibilities

Lead team to deliver cross-functional execution of product line or division programs to meet and exceed objectives and financial goals.  Manage and develop  employees.

Coordinate product portfolio prioritization within a product line or division and align budget.

Track and adjust OPEX (operating expense) spending in alignment with project plans and spending targets.  Ensure that AOP, financial  and product objectives are met.

Responsible for business process creation and continuous improvement

Manage and drive  COGS (cost of goods sold) reduction plans  to deliver GM (gross margin)

Drive product line or division  coordination of business continuity planning,  crisis management, and safety compliance including lab safety practices

Ensure all ePLC (enhanced product lifecycle) project operational deliverables are supported and completed

Partner with Product Line or Division GM and Staff to execute key non-technical programs.  May serve as chief of staff.  Develop and drive cross-divisional and cross-functional programs.

Job Description: As an increasingly complex industry roadmap continues to drive AGS growth, we have an opportunity to help customers accelerate new technology ramps while optimizing performance, yield, output, and overall fab operations cost.  Position is in support of JASM venture.

To effectively coordinate these ramps and provide leadership support surrounding all components of AGS Operations, the AGS Operational Focal / onsite designated responsible individual will be accountable for the end-to-end Operational execution.  The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of Spares, Planning, TKM and Logistical support.  They will oversee all operations with kit movements, spares delivery, capture & track issues, reporting out weekly all site activity to Management.  This role will focus on the ability to listen to customers, manage escalations, coordinate actions with logistics, planning, order fulfillment and overall support the onsite Field Service Ops Team.  In this new role, the candidate will interface daily with customers and all associated supporting agencies to ensure our external customer has the best possible service and spares experience with Applied Materials.

Job Duties:

Coordinate all AGS Operational activities (non-FSO) in support of new site startupManage overall programs in the areas of Spares execution, Planning, Logistics, Purchasing, Downs, TKM and Order Fulfillment.  The ideal candidate will be required to tie all these internal agencies together to support the entire siteCreate metrics/KPI for performance and programs trackingMeet with the customer (typically Fab Manager and Module/Group Leaders at the Product level)Manage open backlog to close orders in a timely fashion through actions & partnership across all functional areas of AGSAssist with Customer Portal TrainingEnsure quality issues are reported timely, accurately and resolution basedUtilize existing dashboards & SAP/ECC to track programs healthPartnerships with SBU’sHost regular meetings with internal & external stakeholders
