A Day in the Life…
Rules Professionals will help to lead the implementation of business rules using The Decision Model methodology to manage business logic. The rules are implemented in our enterprise decision management service which is used by applications and business processes throughout Freddie Mac’s largest line of business, the Single-Family business. A typical day includes:
Planning/Solutioning
Iterating through business requests and performing impact analysis
Recommending innovative approaches/solutions to problems, and communicating pros & cons
A quick check-in with teammates, IT & business partners to coordinating day to day activities
Coordinating with IT and business partners to ensure alignment to approaches/solutions
Working with test teams to ensure rules meet expected behavior
Facilitate
Facilitating working session to plan release, review solution, capture requirements or resolve issues
Standards
Review rules with team, business and IT to ensure they add business value and adhere to standards
Process Improvement
Driving ideas for process improvements and automation opportunities

Qualifications
Typically has 2-4 years related experience
College Degree or equivalent experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
