OBJECTIVE:
Cleans and resets tables, monitoring tables for customer needs and duties requested by supervisory personnel, in an efficient courteous manner displaying a high standard of customer services.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a kitchen, restaurant or casino floor environment. Casino environment which is smoke-free.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Always be Barona NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting. Reports to work on time, as scheduled, and in uniform. Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude. Follows department and casino policies and procedures. Completes all side work duties in an efficient and proper manner. Maintains a clean, inventoried and organized area cleaning supplies and necessary equipment for daily area maintenance. Knowledgeable of chemical use, storage and safe handling procedures. Participates as a team member with staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of Customer Services. Maintains knowledge of all food and beverage health codes, and makes safety-first priority. Ensures that all areas are kept clean and free of any potential hazards. Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of supplies and inventory. Maintains order, cleanliness, and proper setting of dining room. Assists servers in clearing all dishes from the table after customers are through eating, continually providing them with a clean and neat eating area. Also for re-setting tables after the customers departure. NOTE: This description incorporates the most typical duties performed. It is recognized that other related duties not specifically mentioned may also be performed. The inclusion of those duties would not alter the overall evaluation of this occupation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
Oral and written communication and computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow oral or written instructions, lift a minimum of 50 pounds, sit, stand or walk continuously for 8 hours or longer
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Current Food Handler’s Education Certificate
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3 months customer service experience preferred
