Job Description:

In this rare and pivotal role, you will be responsible for oversight of Commercial (procurement) Packaging Operations for Mars Food Australia. Your role will encompass the deployment of the Packaging Global and Local Category strategies as well provide operational excellence on a day-to day basis and be accountable for the regional commercial operations escalation process.

Additionally, you will work closely with the procurement sourcing associates and Supply Chain. This role is the cornerstone to driving procurement category management and the delivery of Value Leadership.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Responsible for all Global food Packaging category in the region.

Drive the Risk management program for their category and other categories in the region.

Continuous improvement of suppliers’ performance, and relationships Management.

Contribution into growth targets via effective support of new product launches.

Analyse buying operations program metrics and provide analytic insight to buying category leadership.

Ensure continuity of our suppliers’ responsibilities for the inbound supply of materials into product manufacturing locations through timely management of inbound quality requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

Demonstrated experience in Procurement and General Supply Chain experience

Excellent understanding of E2E supply chain.

In depth understanding of SRM programs, continuous improvement programs, and Risk Mitigation strategies.

Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to work under pressure.
