This role involves sourcing goods and services, managing the supply base for components, implementing procurement practices, negotiating supplier agreements, and mitigating supply chain risks; additionally, supporting internal stakeholders, converting purchase requisitions into orders, attending cross-functional meetings, and focusing on continuous process improvement.

Sourcing of goods and servicesSelect, develop and manage supply base for components in upcoming and existing designsManage strategic sourcing of componentsImplement standard indirect procurement practicesNegotiate complex and or critical supplier agreements in line with existing strategiesIdentify and mitigate supply chain risksCreate, maintain, and publish regular metricsSupport internal stakeholders with their procurement needsConvert Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders in SAPAttend cross functional team meeting and support internal customer needsConduct continuous improvement efforts focused on optimizing procurement process

 

Education & Experience 

Degree in Engineering, Economy or Finance5 or more years of experience in purchasing areaKnowledge in SAP (preferable)Good computer skillsKnowledge of the automotive industry and customersSolid knowledge of related government laws and regulationsConflict ManagementQuality decisionResults OrientedInterpersonal CommunicationFluent in English
