What you will be doing

 

Gathering information on sources and suppliers, interviewing representatives, analyzing bids, and recommending vendors Negotiating contracts and pricing with vendors Setting standard costs and prices for all purchased items & investigating deviations Pursuing material cost reductions Reviewing and approving invoices Maintaining relationships & quality certification of suppliers Maintaining inventory levels Setting up material release schedules Expediting orders to minimize production delays Awareness of new products and services

 

 

What we are looking for

 

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience 2-4 years’ related experience purchasing for a manufacturing facility Flexibility to accomplish changing goals Excellent oral and written communication skills Team attitude Spanish speaker would be great
