THE DAY TO DAY...

Execute and manage supplier purchase orders to achieve the production build plans and service levels

Ensure clear communication of expectations and priorities with suppliers

Ensure suppliers adhere to Ariens SOP for order acknowledgement to required delivery dates, packaging and labeling requirements, and shipping processes

Maintain supplier ship from locations and purchased materials deliver to locations

Manage purchasing requirements for product changes and new product introductions

Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive continuous improvement in supplier on time delivery, supplier PPM, inbound freight expenses, and purchased inventory turns

Determine optimal inbound flow and locations for purchased materials (supermarkets, off site warehouse) to reduce total cost while managing inventory

Manage supplier returns and resolve inbound quality issues in a timely manner with internal stakeholders and the supplier

Resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure inventory accuracy and supplier payment within agreed terms

Manage purchased parts inventory; including disposition of slow moving, excess, or obsolete

Execute assigned metrics reporting related to purchased materials; supplier metrics, inventory metrics, dashboard, etc.

Involve Strategic Sourcing with forecast updates, supplier contract issues, quality and delivery issues that require escalation for resolution

THE QUALIFICATATIONS...

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of 3 years related experience; or a minimum of 8 years of experience required in lieu of degree
