We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team!

This role is heavily focused on import purchasing and requires strong forecasting abilities.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, particularly in using formulas and V-Lookup, and will have a keen eye for detail.

Top 3 Must Haves:

Import Purchasing Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience with import purchasing, including forecasting abilities.Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, including using formulas and V-Lookup for data analysis.Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze demand activity: Plan inventory replenishment for both domestic and import items using the SX system.Prepare and process purchase orders: Handle requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.Review documentation: Ensure accuracy on purchase orders, Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.Expedite items and orders: Ensure on-time delivery and avoid backorders.Track overseas orders: Monitor items and orders coming from overseas.Resolve issues: Work cross-functionally with warehouse, accounts payable, and credit departments on shortages, damages, and defectives to resolve issues with suppliers for credits and returns.Manage data: Own all aspects of data for items ordered, including initial item setup, managing MOQs, and pricing updates throughout the item lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience with import purchasing.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines.Proficient in Excel, including using formulas and V-Lookup.
