Procurement Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products plant in Guadalupe.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tInitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.•\tNegotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.•\tRecommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.•\tAnalyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have 2+ years of experience in a purchasing area.\tYou have knowledge of Incoterms.\tIf you have knowledge in logistics is a plus.\tYou are easy to communicate in English in an advanced level.\tBachelor’s Degree in International Commerce, Business administration or related.
