Procurement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will be ensure for purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business for System Drives division in Nelamangala -Bangalore.You will be mainly responsible for:•\tProject procurement – Many RFQs Pursuits at a time, long conversion time, Long gestation projects•\tTimeline based activities (Short and quick turnaround time for budgetary quotes)•\tContinual iteration of Approved vendor list and constant new vendor development for maintaining Balance in Value chain as well as reduction of Cost/Increasing value•\tSupplier Identification and partnering for optimized cost(Add-on)•\tTotal Cost of Ownership, Cost breakdown and Cost Control•\tSupplier Qualification and Auditing•\tConstant Lookout for Volume based reductions•\tSales support for new requirements for specific ETO projects

Qualifications for the role

Educational/Skill Requirements:\tRequires a BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics engineering. \tPrefer 4-8 years of related work experience (preferably in Drive panels. Low Voltage and Medium voltage, Transformers, motors)\tStrong experience in Supplier development work related SCM activities\tExpertise in commercial aspects of contract management including taxations\tShould have good knowledge of Transformers, Motors\tLogistics knowledge (Imports/Exports) added advantage\tKnowledge on ERP (SAP preferably ) for Purchasing transactions.\tStrong Negotiation skills, contract and cost management for Project/Product/Service and Capex
