**JOB DESCRIPTION** This role is known for supporting Procurement managers and Leadership team in the procurement of tactical goods and services across the corporate enterprises. This role has an impact on our global procurement program process and improvement, driving financial impact without sacrificing quality, value and service Starting salary is $55K; commensurate with experience. **WHAT WILL YOU DO** + Ensures all aspects of Procurement are handled in a timely, professional and accurate manner. + Accuracy of creation/editing of catalog additions. + Issuing and follow-up of all purchase orders and a high level of customer service provided to both internal and external stakeholders. + Monitors intake request queue daily to ensure request are acted upon, following up with internal customers to address request, obtain any additional information, and timeline to meet expectations. + Communicate and follow-up with potential suppliers. + Support and assist with performing the PO close for month end. + Identify areas of improvement working with the team to identify, analyse, plan, communicate, document, implement and evaluate. + Participate in training sessions and provide support and general information to the end user. + Negotiate with suppliers under the guidance of a Procurement manager. + Seeks efficiencies in processing request. + Maintains the accuracy of the data within procurement system relating to goods or services being purchased and supplier information. + Maintains high standards of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. + Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. + Track and report on volumes, trends, categories, utilizing Hertz operating systems. + Accountable for achievement of metrics and targets associated with the position. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** + Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in related field + Experience in industry a plus + High attention to detail + Proficient in Microsoft Suite + Ability to work within teams and independently + Exceptional business acumen + General knowledge around theory and practice of marketing, finance, operations, accounting and IT + Project management skills **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU** + Up to 40% off the base rate of any standard Hertz Rental   + Paid Time Off + Medical, Dental & Vision plan options + Retirement programs, including 401(k) employer matching + Paid Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance + Employee Assistance Program for employees & family + Educational Reimbursement & Discounts + Voluntary Insurance Programs - Pet, Legal/Identity Theft, Critical Illness + Perks & Discounts –Theme Park Tickets, Gym Discounts & more The Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, Thrifty Car Rental brands in approximately 9,700 corporate and franchisee locations throughout North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
