Fluor, one of the world's largest publicly traded engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and maintenance companies, is partnering with Iluka, a global leader in critical minerals, to design and build the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in Western Australia. Located 285km north of Perth CBD, this state-of-the-art project will produce essential minerals for modern and future technologies, construction, medical, lifestyle, and industrial applications.

As the world moves towards a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future, the demand for Iluka’s high-quality products is on the rise. We are seeking an enthusiastic Buyer to join our dynamic Perth team. This role offers the opportunity to manage procurement packages and support an international team of Buyers on this innovative project.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage complex bespoke equipment packages (mechanical and electrical) throughout the entire supply chain cycle. Efficiently progress packages through tendering, award, and administration phases. Procure engineered equipment and materials in line with the Material Management Plan. Review, analyze, and negotiate Terms and Conditions based on Prime Contract flow downs. Provide independent recommendations for solutions to problems of varying complexity.

Requirements:

10 years of experience in Project Procurement. Experience with EPC/EPCM or OEM companies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with Project Management, Technical Disciplines, Client Representatives, Colleagues, Peers, and Suppliers & Contractors. Excellent time management skills.
