Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for planning and purchasing materials for our location, analyzing trends, and forecasting purchasing needs. This role involves processing purchase orders from a pre-approved vendor list and monitoring costs and material levels.

ResponsibilitiesPlan and purchase materials for the location.Analyze trends and forecast purchasing needs.Process purchase orders from a pre-approved vendor list.Monitor costs and material levels.Essential SkillsPurchasing experience with metals, MRO, etc.3-5 years of purchasing experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good time management and prioritization skills.Good negotiation and decision-making skills.Good organizational and attention to detail skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Eppicor or similar ERP system.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Eppicor ERP system.Experience with MRP systems.Additional purchasing experience.Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, onsite. The company is currently growing and opening a new location in Tuscan. Initially, this will be a contract position with the potential to become a full-time opportunity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
