Job Description

This role involves handling work orders, ordering large quantities of parts, building relationships with vendors, reviewing pricing to ensure competitiveness, and responding to customers and vendors to ensure timely order completion. There may also be training opportunities in planning.

ResponsibilitiesHandle work orders efficiently.Order large quantities of parts as needed.Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.Review and analyze pricing to ensure the team remains competitive.Respond promptly to customers and vendors to ensure timely order completion.Participate in training opportunities in planning.Essential SkillsExperience in procurement and purchase orders.Knowledge of supply chain management.Minimum of 2 years of buying experience.Background in manufacturing is essential.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NetSuite is a plus.Work Environment

The role is fully onsite and involves working closely with a team of two buyers. The buyer will collaborate with all departments and should be comfortable walking to various areas within the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
