Your role and responsibilities

ABB ELSP Procurement is a key function that delivers value to ABB by leveraging market knowledge, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of goods and services and the management of ABB ELSP’s third party spend. Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal stakeholders, The Indirect Purchasing Team of the Electrification Procurement organization helps writing the future of safe, smart, and sustainable electrificationThe work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Smart Power Division in Frosinone. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollaborating with the Indirect Purchasing Manager to develop and implementing effective sourcing strategies through tactical and operational processes.•\tUnderstands strategies and execute processes accordingly•\tDriving improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and working capital, including payment terms, lead times, in line with procurement guidelines and manufacturing objectives.•\tManaging stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment and continuous operational improvement.•\tImplementing, operating, maintaining, and enhancing supply chain systems and data analytics tools to improve performance.•\tCommunicating effectively with suppliers and managing supplier qualification, assessment, and onboarding.•\tManaging material categories by developing sourcing strategies, selecting and managing suppliers, negotiating trade conditions, and handling competitive bidding for the Indirect spend.•\tEnsuring compliance with ABB’s core values, safety, and integrity standards, and adhering to all internal and statutory regulations and policies.•\tBeing accountable for health and safety of all employees and contractors, and continuously improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.•\tProviding guidance to Indirect stakeholders and seeking knowledge for personal development, coaching and mentoring teams, and working in high-performing teams. Cooperating and communicating with local and foreign suppliers and other employees across the organization.You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

You have at least 2/3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement. Ability to demonstrate your experience in cost optimization and risk mitigation. You hold a Master Degree Engineering or related fields.\tYou are immersed in sourcing strategies and the manufacturing market. Possess an enhanced knowledge of supply chain systems and highly adept in data analytics tools. You are passionate about stakeholder management and you are innovative around cross-functional collaboration.\tYou are at ease communicating in English (B2) and Italian. You have experience in the following tools: SAP Ariba, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel and PPT Willingness to travel for short to medium-term assignments
