Resideo is seeking a Buyer (m/w/d) for our manufacturing facility in Mosbach. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for our packaging and machined parts commodity lines, working with global suppliers, ensuring spend, on time to request and weighted average lead time targets are met. The Buyer ensures that purchase goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. You will partner with international procurement colleagues to procure parts from suppliers that supply to multiple Resideo sites. You will deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services off of defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. This may include occasional one-off negotiations for non-standard buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced. **JOB DUTIES:** + Initiate orders and monitor compliance with delivery dates + Initiate and monitor framework orders for direct material + Master data maintenance in SAP + Phase in / phase out planning of new parts + Clarification of invoice differences / collaboration in complaints + Collaboration in the development of purchasing strategies, processes and guidelines for optimal procurement of materials + Selection and assessment of suppliers - to achieve the sourcing KPIs + Collaboration in various project teams + Procurement of drawing-based parts + Price negotiations with suppliers **YOU MUST HAVE:** + 5+ years' experience in purchasing + Fluent written and spoken English + Ability to work in a team and high levels of flexibility + Good IT skills (MS Office programs, SAP) + Very good communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues + Confident demeanour and assertiveness; resilience **WE VALUE:** + Experience working within manufacture (not essential) + Experience purchasing packaging or machined parts (not essential) + Technical mindset or experience purchasing technical commodities **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:** + Hybrid working model + Flexible working hours + Become part of a highly motivated and collaborative team \#LI-AM3 \#LI-HYBRID Resideo is a leading global provider of critical comfort and security solutions primarily in residential environments and distributor of low-voltage electronic and security products.
