If you are a Supply Chain Professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  You will work with our suppliers to purchase components and services required to manufacture TESCOM product.  You will select suppliers for those good and services within established total quality standards.  You will manage supplier relationships and will ensure coordinated efforts in the purchasing group by following uniform processes, procedures and supplier relations.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Sourcing - Locates sources for critical materials, parts and services.  Supplier selection process to be in conformance with division supplier certification policy.  Negotiates supplier contracts to minimize overall investment while supporting Tescom’s need. Procurement – Performs the following procurement functions:
o    Purchase Orders – Issues purchase orders to qualified suppliers selected for their capabilities to meet Tescom’s needs.
o    Accurate Database – Assures accurate database by current cost, changes to accounting, quotations, supplier history, and supplier lead-times.
o    Expedite Orders – Expedites at any point in the order and manufacturing process to the degree required to meet the customers’ requirements and communicates situations that will impact delivery.
o    Assure Availability – Assures material availability to support the manufacturing process by placing sub-contract orders and purchase orders to qualified suppliers in response to MRP action notices.
o    Discrepant Material & Certification Requirements – Coordinates discrepant material and certification requirements consistent with policy and delivery schedules.
o    Achieve Cost Reductions – Investigates new methods or products that could benefit cost reduction and product design/redesign. Supplier Liaison – Performs supplier liaison functions. Negotiating - Negotiates contracts to meet Quality requirements (includes cost delivery and certification requirements). Supplier Management – Follow-up with suppliers as necessary, to resolve delivery problems, cost changes, or quality issues.

  For This Role, You Will Need: High School diploma with 5 years of experience with TESCOM products OR a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, suppliers, and all employees Ability to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment Ability to read part and assembly drawings. Strong analytical and planning skills Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $59,000 - $82,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
