In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Applying Planner Workbench to release new orders and reschedule orders with suppliers.
Handling backlog optimally.
Supervising product phase-in/phase-out processes.
Handling product purchase orders.
Implementing material strategies with suppliers.
Setting standard costs for purchased parts.
Leading and implementing procurement projects.
Coordinating returns of goods to suppliers.
Addressing supplier performance and resolving related issues.
Setting and achieving annual cost reduction and containment goals.
Performing other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:
A relevant BS or BA degree, APICS certification, or 5 years of experience in Planning and/or Purchasing in a manufacturing environment, or a combination of education and work experience. Strong interpersonal and planning skills. Effective oral and written communication abilities. Knowledge of MRP, JIT, and Kanban. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with valves and other manufacturing processes.
