Buyer Planner

Description

The Production Planner/Buyer is responsible for scheduling the usage of production materials to ensure optimal levels. The Planner must evaluate suppliers or quality timeliness and match according to goals. They also monitor material flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.

Education

BA/BS degree with 4–7+ years experience

Qualifications

•\t2 -5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials Management, Planning and Logistics

•\tStrong sense of urgency to obtain results

•\tExperience in Lean Manufacturing & Product Quality

•\tExperience in Lean Inventory Management processes

•\tIntermediate analytical and project management skills

•\tProficient with Microsoft Excel reporting and data analysis tools

•\tSolid skills with ERP systems (JDE and/or SAP a plus) and data mining from ERP systems

•\tGood verbal and written communication is a MUST

•\tBuyer experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
