We are looking for a
Buyer (Raw Material)
To join our team in Kirkkonummi, Finland. You will be responsible for the purchase of specified raw material categories. Commodities will be defined based on your experience. You will work closely with a local and global team of commodity buyers and collaborate with different departments (e.g. operations, supply chain, R&D) to ensure efficient procurement processes and contribute to the overall success of the company in line with Governance of Prysmian guidelines and procedures. You will report directly to the Purchasing Country Manager.
Responsibilities
Managing procurement activities for assigned commodities and planning the activities with internal functions.Collaborating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.Creating tenders.Examining economic and commercial offers and relative alignment in collaboration with internal functions.Aligning contractual terms and general terms and conditions.Scouting and codifying new suppliers, managing and constantly monitoring the qualification/codification process.Negotiating prices and supplier selection/allocation.Conducting Economic tabulation and price consistency.Creating and managing purchasing orders and requisitions in SAP.Creating purchasing contracts in SAP.Maintaining SAP with the latest price lists, contract prices, PO prices, and validity dates.Maintaining purchasing master data.Contributing to simplifying the procurement process in SAP and supporting the training of others.Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or related field is preferred.At least 2 years of experience in procurement.Good knowledge of the SAP management system is a significant benefit.Good negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across levels and functions.Highly analytical, creative, and a problem-solver, always ready to generate new ideas and solutions.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and agile, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs and expectations.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Finnish language skills are an advantageWe offer
