As a Buyer Specialist, You will manage the buying process for a given set of goods. You will apply sourcing policy, work with suppliers for Purchase Order (PO) finalization aligned with specifications and budgets. You will manage bid-sourcing process and arrange most attractive quotes from global suppliers. You will perform required job by supplier selection.
As a Buyer Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Managing Supplier introduction/modification in ERP, using appropriate company tools (i.e. HICX) and manage/ support supplier during daily activitiesManaging request of quotation through “iSupplier Portal”, providing to suppliers all documents necessary for quotation and support technical office on technical alignment activityManaging bid across multiple suppliers using company tools (i.e. electronic bid etc)Placing purchase orders (POs) for qualified and non-qualified supplier, using proper ERM tools and opening internal process (i.e. Qualification Starting Point)Making accountable PO placement on time for assigned products/PORUpdating ERP regarding docs necessary to validate and require PO approvalAnalyzing and tracking Supplier promise date accuracy for FPQ activity and developing reports and supporting on prioritization taking in accounts business needs, on assigned FPQ POsSupporting key sourcing initiatives through supplier contactEnsuring supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirementsFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing).Be a good communicator and be fluent in EnglishBe a motivated self-starter that promotes teamwork and collaboration in a cross-functional environment.Be able to demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills.Be a natural, proactive communicator with good negotiation skillsShow the ability to lead complex initiativesWork in a way that works for you
