Buying Manager

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION

To manage the product categories and deliver the in-season business to achieve retail and eCom business objectives and target
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute the buy strategy for own retail and eCom inline business. Execute product and assortment strategy to achieve company target of the designated channels / categories. Plan and implement inventory control management, and apply effective strategies to ensure optimal stock control in stores, including stock monthly allocation and consolidation among stores, plan for markdowns and clearance. Monitor shop and sell-through performance and derive strategies and actions to meet market needs. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for merchandise distribution. Analyze routine sales and stock data and maintain detailed and accurate reports. Involve in shop opening and upgrading project. Collaborate with Retail Operations, VM, Product, Marketing and Logistic team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong knowledge and background in retail buying Fluent in English and Cantonese; Good in Mandarin Well organized and pro-active, able to work under pressure and tight schedule
 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

5-7 years of experience in retail merchandising field Bachelor’s degree
