Complete Description:
The Ohio Department of Health is undertaking an application development project to build a single portal through which all electronic health information coming in and out of ODH will be exchanged. This will include the enhancement of the Dashboard which reports status of incoming and outgoing messages, new infrastructure to support messaging with Ohio’s Health Information Exchanges (HIEs)s, new service interfaces to facilitate bi-direction exchange between ODH and various Electronic Medical Record(EMR) software packages and a data quality improvement imitative to address known data quality issues.
This position will primarily focus on the data quality project and will; evaluate Immunization Registry data quality, provide data quality reports and write scripts to resolve data quality issues. In addition this position will work with the ODH architect to begin designing and building a Master Provider Index (MPI) and a Master Client Index (MCI).
